About a month ago I took a trip to San Francisco. One of the things we did was catch a show at the Filmore. The Filmore is such a cool place to see live music. The walls are lined with pictures of past performances and you could easily spend all night admiring all the great bands that have shared that stage over the years. The upstairs walls are lined with concert posters of past shows. I love concert posters, it was interesting to see all the different designs for and all the different bands that have played there. During the concert we heard people talking saying that if the show sold out we’d get a copy of that show’s poster as we walked out. No one from our group knew if we’d get one or not. Sure enough on the way out they were handing out these quality posters of the show. Such a great memento of the night. I plan on framing it soon and putting it up on my wall.
